The puzzle game offers an interactive approach to learning geography. Maps can be purchased within the application, with two maps available for free.

Players are encouraged to solve puzzles swiftly to achieve high scores. The game allows double-tapping or drag-and-drop functionality to place countries accurately. It stands out as the only geography app utilizing a comprehensive map database, enabling players to pan by dragging and zoom in or out by pinching. Additional features include the ability to zoom out to the full map with a double-finger double-tap and compatibility with both portrait and landscape orientations.

Competitive elements come into play with GameCenter high scores, allowing players to challenge friends and global competitors. The game provides intricate map details, visible even on tiny islands and peninsulas, surpassing many other map games in this aspect.

The game features six levels, each requiring completion before unlocking the next:

• Traveler: Easier level with gradual zooming, skipping some small regions.
• Surveyor: Requires placing countries by name, offers a sonar hint but no auto-zoom.
• Explorer: Involves placing countries by name without sonar hints.
• Navigator: Challenges players to place countries based on their capital names.
• Discoverer: Presents a challenge where countries must be identified by their flags rather than shapes.
• Cartographer: Demands precision in placing capitals within their respective regions.

The game settings offer customizable options such as difficulty levels, sound settings, and more. Players can choose from two voices announcing the names of countries or regions during gameplay.

The "High Scores" section displays the top times for different difficulty levels. With a variety of maps available for purchase, pricing based on map size, players can explore maps such as the US 13 Colonies and Italy at no cost before potentially buying individual countries like the USA or Canada and even entire continents such as Asia or North America. For added challenge, the Oceania map is recommended for its multitude of small island countries that are hard to spot. Specialized maps like those featuring countries around bodies of water such as the Pacific Ocean or Caribbean Sea provide unique gameplay experiences. Additionally, players can attempt the expansive World puzzle encompassing 208 countries.
